Job Description: Dear Candidate, Greeting from Willis Towers Watson!! We have an urgent opening for "Operational Compliance Officer". Below is the Job Description: Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Operational Delivery Audit operational processes i.e. files and WEM(internal procedures) requirements. Discuss with team regarding short comings (if any) and the requirements of the internal compliance procedures and other regulations. Manage operational compliance queries, escalating where appropriate within defined timescales following the documented protocols Effective management of auditing processes and timescales in accordance with agreed procedures Liaise with the Compliance Team (UK) to ensure all internal compliance requirements are in place and updated on a timely basis. Effective verbal and written communication skills to enable direct negotiation of challenging and difficult issues with team. Good understanding of the business model, the internal audit process, and role interfaces / dependencies within the Business Unit and across functions Competent user of internal auditing systems along with Microsoft office, Excel/Word, MS Outlook. Ensure adherence to standardized Group policies and procedures, including all WEM and other regulatory requirements A good understanding of Insurance business, Contract and policy cover terminologies / requirements. Ideally has 2 years or more experience on conducting file reviews in the Insurance based processes. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Competencies: Concern for Quality Teamwork and collaboration Query management Compliance management Has to be flexible to shift alteration Desired Profile: Good verbal and written communication skills Basic Insurance background Knowledge of the Microsoft office is essential, particularly Word & Excel using various functions.
